Instructions
In a small pot over medium heat, add the oil
When the oil spiders, add the onion and cook until soft, translucent, and begining to take color
Add the garlic and cook until fragrent, ~ 1 minute
Add the rest and stir to combine
Drop heat to low and simmer until thickened
Taste, balance the flavor, looking to sweet, tangy, spicy, smokey
Notes
Really basic BBQ sauce. One can adjust the sweetness, tang and heat to fit one's taste
