Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Breakfast Sausage Ground Sausage, Spicy / Sagey
  • 1 lbs Cheddar Shredded
  • 3 cup Baking Mix B*SQ**CK
  • 2-6 ea Jalapenos Washed, Seeded, Diced, optional

Equipment

  • Cookie Sheets Lubbed or with parchement

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
  2. Mix baking mix, Cheddar cheese hot pork sausage together in a large bowl.
  3. Form sausage mixture into 1 and a half inch balls; arrange on the prepared baking sheets.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center and browned on the outside, 25 to 30 minutes.

Notes

There are so many options here.
  • Swap the spicy sausage for sagey.
  • Swap the optional add-ins for olives, diced onion
  • Change the Cheese
  • Go sweet instead of savory
    • Use sweet Italian sausage
    • Add chunks of apple
    • Use macerated dried fruit.
