Spiced Pecans

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ea Egg white beaten lightly
  • 1 tbsp Water Or bourbon ...
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 3 cup Pecan Halves
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne OPTIONAL

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Give the foil a LIGHT spray with your oil mister.
  2. Beat egg white and water together in a large bowl; add pecans and stir to coat.
  3. Mix sugar, cinnamon, salt, cloves, and nutmeg, cayenne (IF using) in a small bowl; sprinkle over moistened nuts. Spread nuts on the prepared pan.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven, stirring once or twice, until toasted and fragrant, about 30 minutes.
