Spiced Pecans
Just a memory of Christmases past. A bowl of these and a big glass of eggnog made for a relaxing bedtime snack.
They will also serve quite well on a charcuterie or cheese board for a holiday gathering. I’ve included a basic spice mix, but one can get quite elaborate, say 5 spice mix and ground ginger for that Asian flair.
If one has any left-overs (HAH!), they can be chopped up and used in a strudel.
Sorry for the abbreviated post today, but many end-of-year things are occurring, and they are commanding my attention. Keep an eye on these while baking; the sugar will burn quickly.
